You know that you need to make your home look its best before hosting a showing or an open house. But making your home smell good is nearly as important as the staging and repairs.
Your home should appeal to all of your potential buyers’ senses, so spend some time making your home smell great before your showings or open houses. Summer is coming fast, and with those nice sunny days come a downside: you now have to cool your home.
Electricity is just getting more expensive, so use these old-school tricks to cut your cooling costs this summer. 1. Stop the heat in its tracks by closing your drapes when there’s daylight. By keeping the sun out, your home will stay cooler! 2. Increase air circulation by turning a fan on. A slight breeze goes a long way to making a room feel cooler. 3. Keep the air in your home cooler by keeping your stove/oven off. The grill is a great way to cook things while keeping your home cooler. What’s your favorite trick to keep your home cool? Let me know in the comments! P.S. Don’t forget to save this post for the summer! . . . #coldwelldistinctiveproperties #tip |
